First impressions are always important, as they mark your whole experience at a hotel . Check in on line did not work. Upon arrival at the flat, self check in did not work either . Fortunately the reception was open and I finally was able to do it . There the bad impression begun . Staff was not nice , not a bit welcoming. I was asked to pay the city tax upon arrival . That is a normal procedure in all hotels . No problem with that . The issue was that when I asked for a receipt for that payment, they looked at me and said it was not possible at that moment, that I would get the receipt when I checked out!! That is a complete absurd ! If I pay something I must have a receipt issued right away . I’ve read reviews ( many in fact ) of customers that had to pay for city taxes again ( at check out ) as the hotel claimed it hadn’t been paid! It was very unpleasant having to practically start an argument just to get my receipt! After that unpleasant welcome reception, most of my stay was contaminated by just remembering the fact . One time I went into the reception to ask for some information about the town , the staff was again cold and unfriendly , almost to the point of being rude ! The location of the flat is good , the rooms are nice and big , but all of that was not enough to make me forget the first and the following contacts I had with the girl and the young man at the reception desk . They need to be better trained to do their job ! Will never go back to the place !
