We were excited to stay here and are not a picky couple. We think the idea and location is great, but the crack/rip in the floor I kept catching my foot on sucked. The shower is literally so tiny. The igloo was cool, but in the summer, the hot sun was not very nice and the AC unit couldnโt keep up. At night the heater wasnโt very good, blowing cold air. I looked up how to use the remote lol โฆ the door was hard to lock and unlock. You have to lift the handle but no sign saying to do so. Finally, no housekeeping done and we were going to stay for 3 days but left a day early because it wasnโt comfortable. There was dust in the vents in the WC. The view is pretty, but an bit anticlimacticโฆ just a field. Maybe itโs better in winter time, but itโs def more a glamping experience. Also, we had dirty/stained sheets and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days for two people. We ran out on day two and had to buy one. Iโm glad places like this exist but if you are planning on staying, make it only one night. Oh, and the flies buzzing inside our igloo were terrible and I found dead ones under the bed. Could have been better with that. I slept in a tent on the Laugavegur Trail during this trip so Iโm not a princess. I think they could do a lot better! We lost a few hundred dollars on this one. Go all the way to Vik and stay there. Much better accommodations there.
