This was one of our favorite stays of our whole trip in Portugal. It’s incredibly quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We could have spent days just sitting out on the beautiful garden. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and patio was a great additional space. We weren’t able to eat dinner at the hotel the specific night we stayed, but would recommend it over driving into town. Kira was the sweetest dog roaming the property. Would love to come back one day.

Établissement de qualité, très propre et très joliment décoré. Le jardin et la piscine sont très appréciables. Les hôtes sont accueillants et sympathiques. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour calme et reposant. Les repas du soir sont typiques, copieux et délicieux. Merci Christina 😊

Amazing place, the drive up the hill from Pinhao is an absolut gem. There is not much around, so don’t expect to walk somewhere from this place.

The family atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are the owners and they really make you feel welcome. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed, the pool area was small but very comfortable, and the son of the owners is so helpful. He gave us excellent advice. It’s about a 15 minute drive up from or down to Pinhao but the drive itself is spectacular. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Dona Edite Guesthouse. Beautiful place great scenery. The staff was very friendly helpful and accommodating. We had dinner both nights we stayed. Food was great. Nice pool and yard. I would definitely stay there again.

A fantastic place. Friendly and helpful staff/owners. A beautiful, modern guesthouse that blends in well with the historic surroundings. As with other accommodation of this type, you should do your shopping on the way if you plan to stay in a room with kitchen facilities (the family room). There are no supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. Take a short walk up the road both opposite and next to the guesthouse. The views are magnificent in both directions. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic stay here, quiet and comfortable room looking out on vineyards. Owners and their son were the most gracious of hosts. The meals in the evening were delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. Lots of variety at breakfast. Totally recommend.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. One of the things I enjoyed most was its location among the vineyards. Stepping outside and walking through the surrounding area offered beautiful views of the Douro landscape and made for a truly relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was also excellent. Everything exceeded my expectations. If I could give this hotel 8 stars out of 5, I would. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

Lovely and kind family run casa that is neat and clean with amazing home cooked meals that are worth experiencing. The entire family were wonderfully helpful and arranged port and wine visits and recommended amazing hikes with incredible views for us. Pool was under maintenance during our visit.

My only regret is not staying longer. Everything about our stay was perfect. The owners are wonderful! We drove in from across Spain, and we were ready to unwind after a long journey; they made us feel at home - we loved it. This stay, albeit short, was one of the highlights of our trip. Dinner was great! Definitely planning on returning.
