The home was every bit of amazing, but I had a few issues with the communication and lack of information provided before booking book the home.
I booked the home through Expedia, and Expedia did not disclose any information regarding the deposit that would be due before checking in. I also have all emails showing that the owner never disclosed any emails about a deposit until arrival and we were unable to check in. We had to pay the deposit after being provided a code for the door that didn’t work, and the owner then called and informed me of the deposit that was needed before entering the home.
Additionally, we ensured that the home was clean. I was still charged for “dirty towels” that had marks on them when we used them. We didn’t think anything about the marks on the towels, but we were still charged for brand new towels.
There was a lack of communication and understanding that caused my rating overall. The home itself was nice, spacious, and cozy.
