It was basically someone’s house and they’ve moved out cos someone had booked the place. I “slept” on a mattress on the floor in what was basically a lounge. It was supposed to have more than 2 bedrooms. There were peoples bits and bobs evident. Like toothbrush and toothpaste, personal letters and such like. The lad Said was a nice guy. But the place wasn’t up to scratch. No clean bedding, no towels, dirty floors, no address details at the airport to give to customs officers who weren’t initially going to let us in to the country. The place was in the middles of nowhere, very dark when we arrived, quite intimidating really. Taxi just left us and got out of there!! We didn’t use the kitchen but the oven was very greasy and there was a smell of grease in the kitchen.
