Nice place to stay when visiting Roosevelt National Park. We would have stayed closer to park but everything was booked. It was an easy drive back and forth

The motel is very rustic as appropriate for the area and theme. Their restaurant was close by and good food. Service was a bit slow due to staffing shortages. Best thing is that it is not far from Medora, ND the site of the Theodore Roosevelt Museum and Library which is a must see.

This is a great roadside motel! The rooms may be a little dated but they were spacious, comfortable, clean, and didn't smell musty or smokey. The staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant, Trappers Kettle, is a great breakfast spot, too.

It was a clean motel. Bar was eh (limited drink options and very dark). Bar staff was nice. Restaurant was also eh twice (very understaffed- took over 10 minutes to get seated and the food was not great). Breakfast was better than dinner. Restaurant staff was nice both times.

Older property, but a good option for visiting Roosevelt National Park and the President Library. It is about a 15 min drive, but if you just need a room while exploring the parks it is a good alternative to Medora. Very limited dining options. Their restaurant closes at 2:00pm
