Amazing quality hotel, great food (restaurant could do with 1 more veggie main but all the quality was super high). Fast internet, avo toast poached eggs served during lunch hours is a nice touch. Spa is excellent, staff are very attentive. Good air conditioning, breakfast was OK but not amazing, generally good quality but I think better options for ordering and sourdough as a bread option would elevate it significantly.

The Verda La Wellness is the most recent entry into Malta’s luxury hotel market, the architect has made the most of the site, it is visually appealing. The hotel is well staffed well and they are eager to please. The Odyssey Suite is spacious and included a well stocked inclusive bar. The offerings included champagne, whiskey, cognac and several bottles of wine. My welcome bouquet was truly beautiful and fragrant. The bed and bedding was dreamy and cloud like, I slept as if I were in my own home. Other than the expected growing pains, I observed some unlikely choices of furniture favoring IG worthiness over comfort and longevity of function. It seems likely those will be remedied in due time. I was unwell during my stay and the ample food, beverage and spa services did not leave me wanting. Four days was not enough at The Verdala Wellness Hotel, I would not hesitate to return for a longer stay.

Vi havde en fantastisk uge på Verdala welness hotel. Værelset var stort og rummeligt og sengen var helt fantastisk! Personalet var super opmærksomme og hjælpsomme. Det var noget af det bedste vi har oplevet. Vi spiste på restauranten et par gange og det var virkelig godt. Tjenerne var kompetente og nærværende, og maden sublim! Vi oplevede et par gange at bestille mad og drikkevarer i baren i dagtimerne, hvor vi ventede længe (for længe ift. hvad vi synes er ok), men det ændrer dog ikke på vores samlede oplevelse, som er til 5 stjerner. Vi brugte hotellets spa opråde flere gange som er virkelig godt og fik også en yogatime, som var tiltrængt! Vi kommer gerne retur en anden gang! Særligt tak til Julian og Himal, som var hhv. guest relation manager og tjener. De gjorde det til 5 store stjerner og vi fulgte bl.a. Julians råd til områder der skulle udforskes. Der resulterede i 16km gåture og spændende oplevelser!

A promising new top wellness hotel in Malta

A beautiful brand new hotel just outside the Mdina area - 10 min walk. Lovely rooms, facilities and kind and efficient staff. Literally only opened 2 weeks ago so not all facilities completely up and running yet in the wellness anrea and with its group classes but won’t be far behind. A great base to explore Malta.

Amazing 7 night stay here. Lovely hotel, perfectly maintained. Our room was a generous size with all amenities you need, turn down service on an evening is a lovely addition but as they tended to knock at 5pm this was too early for us so we only benefitted once. The spa facilities are amazing open 8am till 8pm very quiet extremely tranquil with a lovely outdoor space with sun beds too. The restaurant is lovely with some great staff Prosecco breakfast included with a great waiter Himal who kept us topped up. Had evening meal for three nights and the food was faultless we would have preferred a big menu or additional specials - the complimentary appetiser was the same each evening. The hotel is relatively new and there’s still scope to improve on sunbed or evening drinks service but I know this can be a fine line of been pestered. Julian the customer relations manager was very friendly and helpful and spoke to us daily during our stay usually during complimentary afternoon tea served on floor four - two savoury canapés and a sweet option daily including tea, coffee, juice and Prosecco. Great hotel and only 2 minutes to a convenience store or 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

This is a stunning new wellness hotel with one of the best wellness spas I have been to. It is newly built and beautifully designed. It is in the hills with views over the fields and major town in the distance. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The bed is a bit too hard for me. And the shower is over a small bath, but I quite like baths and am small, but maybe not for a large male! The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast offers lots of choices and is very well done. The best part for me is the staff who are just lovely, can't do enough for you and make you feel so welcome. As a solo traveller I felt like a special guest not just one in a crowd of nameless faces. It is a very relaxing place where you can recharge. I would recommend it to those looking for a more relaxing peaceful holiday in Malta
