Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro
"Everything was 10/10 except the breakfast wasn't to my tastes. I can't mark them down for that though"
ibis Styles Yogyakarta
"The rooftop pool was a welcome addition and a little oasis after touring the city. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful."
Greenhost Boutique Hotel
"Amazing unique hotel with nice pool, nice restaurant, and big clean rooms with good showers."
Melia Purosani Yogyakarta
"Very nice lagoon pool and beautiful grounds. Room is well appointed and spacious with a nice desk to work fromif needed. Overall a good place to stay. A few areas to improve are: Breakfast is too crowded and busy, the outer room used as an overflow (Chinese restaurant) is not set up with cutlery and napkins yet it is needed everyday so it should be ready for guests . I ate breakfast 3 days at various hours and it was crowded all the time. Also the hallways are very dark - just makes for a gloomy feel in a large hotel. Lastly the chemical scent being sprayed in the hallways and in front of the elevator is very strong and off putting for those with sensitive noses. These are easy fixes and I will return to this property in the future. The staff is amazing and so kind friendly and helpful- Lovely!"
Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris
"This is a good hotel. The staff is very helpful, breakfast delicious with incredible selection and the rooms comfortable. My only complaint: the bar is terribly overpriced. We learned that our first night. Later nights we noticed that no one is there. (Hint: walk 3 blocks to Ar+otek --- their bar & restaurant are much more reasonable with local live music many nights)."
Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta
"Beautiful and luxurious hotel with an A+ staff. Room is cleaned every day unless I ask to skip (with a button near the door) but they will come by later for a rescheduling. This way they can restock the free complimentary water and food/fruits. Pool is very nice, breakfast buffet is from 6am to 10am and I do recommend getting it as part of your room - wide selection and most of its pretty good. There is a national anthem at 10am that does play in public areas of the hotel. Staff is helpful and professional with the front desk and those at most front facing positions having strong English speaking skills too. Would go back if I was in Yogya"
The Packer Lodge Yogyakarta - Hostel
"Excellent place to stay in Yogyakarta Indonesia"
Oakwood Yogyakarta
"Amazing and friendly staff who are always looking out for you and your wellbeing. The place was 200m away from the market which has local delicious food. It is also 100m from the Tugu Yogyakarta which has many cafes at the roundabout. It’s also 5min away by car to the Tugu Yogyakarta train station and 5-15min away from malioboro mall. The swimming pool is a relaxed and conducive place."
Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto
"The basement parking entrance & space are p0very tight. I suggest to have a better design for the transport parking facility."

For an enriching experience, it's recommended to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully appreciate the city's historical and cultural treasures. During your visit, you can explore stunning temples, captivating museums, and significant monuments, as well as enjoy traditional dancing and archaeological sites. This way, you’ll find great value for your money while immersing yourself in the rich heritage of Yogyakarta.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers a range of hotel deals in Yogyakarta. To find the best options, you may discover enticing rates in the DealsOpens in a new window section or check the Last-Minute Deals area for special offers when travel dates approach. You’re more likely to see timely updates if you enable email alerts or push notifications. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app can help travelers compare hotel prices and amenities, giving you a chance to secure a great hotel deal when competitive rates drop.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary due to factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a Yogyakarta hotel. For travelers seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalized atmosphere and sometimes provide better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your chosen dates is higher or lower than average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Yogyakarta's excellent public transportation options, you may discover more affordable independent hotels a bit farther out that are still well-connected. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, you can often find great value for your money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
