The bed was full of hairs. It was disgusting!!! I am a travel agent and I have never seen a bad so gross!! Also, the bad bed, all sheets and pillows had tons of small hair like a back cat lived there. I had to sleep between the 2 shower towels.

Excellent central location. Lovely clean, modern room. Small issue with gaining access with the code to the room but quickly resolved with a phonecall. Great stay amd would return.

The place was really nice, clean and pretty! The location is a self check in but it’s overall easy to check in. If I had any trouble it was easy to communicate with the owner. There is a shopping center, convenient store and plenty of restaurants nearby the hotel. The only down side there is no elevators because it is a historic building and there is no air conditioning. Overall I enjoyed my stay!!

We will definitely stay in Domain Boutique Rooms,again.It was just disappointing as I tried to book for 2 nights but I guess due to students going back to uni,like us we want to be with our kids before their lecture starts. Domain was fully booked.But it was a pleasant stay.

A little dissappointed

Our stay was on a sunny day. The room had no air conditioning and the cleaner had not left the window open which meant the room was incredibly hot on arrival. The room was very small for the price we paid. There was not a single hook in the room or bathroom. Nowhere to put your wet towels, nowhere to put the toilet roll. There was no handwash in the room which is where you really notice the lack of any reception. I imagine it was an oversight, as there was body lotion and shampoo, but since the room was too hot to be in when we first checked in we did not discover this until we got back after dinner. Rather than popping down to non existent reception to get some hand soap we had to improvise with other toiletries we had brought.

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay

Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem for me as I only stayed one night. Overall I would definitely recommend due to comfort and great location.

Lancaster stay

Central location, well maintained rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Key code system is great, saves you from potentially losing keys. My only suggestion a towel rail would be useful.

The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Lancaster for shops, bars and pubs. Check in was very easy. Don't know if it was the building, but getting mobile data signal in the room was difficult - make sure you know what the Wifi code is before going in! Ideally having it in the room somewhere would've been really useful!

I was a little apprehensive when I found out that there was no front desk staff, incase there was an issue. But the owners were very responsive via text, and were lovely! The property is very well maintained, and I absolutely loved all the small details that they obviously were meticulous about. Great spot!!

Incredible hotel! Immaculately presented, finished to the highest spec and every detail has been thought about! Perfect location if you want to explore Lancaster. Even though it’s in the centre of the town, on a busy Saturday night there was no noise! Amazing place, will definitely stay again.
