Cozumel 317 - Great location - if you aren't fussy
I realise that Cozumel 317 is a self-catering apartment and not a hotel and that the booking forms specifically stated that a light maid service would only be provided every other day. That said - during our nine day stay - we only had two maid services and the sheets were not changed. Then - on the day we were leaving - there were two maids standing outside the flat from 8:30 am desperately wanting to come in to strip sheets of the beds etc as we were trying to pack before the 10am check out time. I am sure the room choice said two single beds and a queen size bed - but the bed in the main room was a double bed. The fold out couch in the lounge was badly stained and the whole flat had a bit of a grimy feel - gunge on shower doors, gungy chipped tiles etc. The flat is well positioned next to a great swimming beach and the keys were left for us by Umdloti letting with no problems - but it certainly was not luxurious in any way - or pristine in the cleanliness department.

Wow!it was a fantastic 3 nights that we spend there with my kids , we enjoyed every minute we spend there.The apartment was clean and welcoming it was home away from home...ive already recommend it to my friends.Im still going to come again it a nice cool place next to everything...Thank you guys keep doing the good work...there's no better place like home and Umdlothi is home

COZUMEL 411
We were really impressed by the finshes, furniture, and the fact that the apartment was air-conditioned. Fantastic ocean views from the lounge and main bedroom, within walking distance to amenities, and let us not forget merely a few footsteps and you are on the beach. I will most certainly consider coming back here.

Flat Excellant Complex terrible Flat Carmeque 11
The flat was beautifully located. Modern finishes with excellent seaviews from the bedrooms and living area. The only negative was the noisy complex. The complex manager holding early morning discussions in the corridor, bins being moved at 7:30 am daily. Renovations taking place with 4 hours of continuous angle-grinder, The manager was not cooperative. I would not recommend staying at Camarque. Excellent service by Umdloti Letting.

Inexpensive beachside accommodations
We had a hard time getting the keys to the place since our instructions were sent via email after we had left home and it's not easy to get internet connections on the road in South Africa. We had to provide our own towels and hand soap. The second shower was kind of strange - located in the master bedroom, so it made the bedroom steamy after the shower. Our place faced the ocean and was across the street from the beach. We had both a balcony and an outdoor deck. The apartment was nothing fancy, but was clean and relatively spacious. We had secure, covered parking. You could walk to a small mall where there was a laundry service, grocery store and a very nice restaurant facing the water. Except for our bumpy beginning, we were pleased overall with the place.
