Room was spotless and extremely enjoyed the private Terrace available with my room selection. Staff was extremely courteous from check in, to checking on me during stay and also hand delivered my DoorDash order without prompting. Love the layout and decor. Some original period pieces are retained and matched with new giving it a retro/modern vibe. It is obvious that this team has a vision and is successfully executing against it led by customer service. A restaurant within is on the horizon at some point but, the bar and continental Breakfast offerings ample for now. This is my new go to spot when visiting NYC!

Fantastic property in a great area, unfortunately inconvenient to the subway stations. Despite this minor con, the property, the room, the staff, amenities… all comforting, safe, and modern. Much more spacious than your traditional NY hotel. Family friendly. Tea/Coffee on site. Bar on site. Free parking lot (to a capacity) Shout out to Xavier. We will return next stop to Brooklyn.

For the price, what you get feels really inadequate. Just a huge concrete box with a window out into a courtyard filled with trash, not even a separate bathroom so your partner can hear you every time you go. Hardly any furniture, zero art. All the finish work looked so sloppy and rushed. Beds were firm and linens scratchy.

The property is delightful, staff is super helpful and friendly, and the rooms are pristine. There's a massive lounge area with a coffee bar and regular bar, where you can stretch out, chat, work on a laptop, etc. The only thing we struggled with was access to the subway (a rather long walk or bus ride away), but someone told us near the end of the trip that we should have taken advantage of the ferry at Navy Yard. Next time! Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved everything about my one week stay and I highly recommend this hotel. The industrial decor is beautiful and well put together. The property is clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I only docked one star because our two full bed room really could have used a coffee machine, microwave, and freezer compartment in the fridge. Other than that, we managed and made it work. I do recommend this hotel. Overall my stay was a 10/10. It was also centrally located to everything we wanted to do as tourist. There was also a laundry mat, corner store, and pizza on the corner which was very helpful. Thank you for our one week stay. Jennifer

It was an exceptional hotel experience because of the exemplary service interactions I had - without exception. The industrial scale and decor was beautifully adapted and exquisitely appointed in the expansive lobby and patio. Located a few blocks from Brooklyn Navy Yard gave me access to Russ & Daughters for amazing deli food and SheWolf bakery! I look forward to my next visit.

Huge fan of Sela V. Quiet location, beautiful art-filled decor, great staff. We stayed in a quarters room this time because i was traveling with two adult kids to attend a wedding. It was very comfortable but small with 4 built on cushy bunks. Not enough space for all of us adults to get ready for the event, limited usable dressing mirror and dim lighting. Because of this I would probably choose a double room like we did last visit. The quarters would be great for traveling with small kids. We loved our stay though and will be back for sure!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There aren’t enough words to describe my experience. The attention to detail is clear — from the soft, plush washcloths and towels, to the body wash, which was beautifully scented with a wonderful lather. Walking the halls feels like being in a museum. The renovation of this building is truly immaculate. I could go on and on.

I want to start by saying it wasn’t the entire staff. The staff during the day were very helpful and attentive. I was placed in a room where the AC wasn’t working. When i got in at 11pm i called the front desk and I was told someone would come up to fix the issue. I waited an hour and called back and got no answer the rest of the night. I was forced to sleep in the heat with my fiancee. The morning staff sent an engineer up and he couldn’t fix the issue . We were moved to a new room. All I received was an apology. i emailed the hotel personally about the issue with no response. I believe this is unacceptable. I paid for nights and received 1 comfortable night. I want to be reimbursed or deducted for 1 night.
