Tony was an interesting and knowledgeable guide of the lighthouse and overall station. Wonderful location particularly atmospheric in the evening.

Good for nature lovers, walkers and people wanting something different away from suburbia. Lots of daddy long legs everywhere, floors not very clean. Bed comfortable, clean and amenities OK. Definitely not a B&B or hotel type accommodation. Probably more akin to a cabin in a caravan park.

There are a few houses available, and all are fantastic the views are amazing

Cramped room, tepid shower, crumby amenities, all at 4.5 star city prices. The tiny worn out heater struggled to keep the room at an adequate temperature. On arrival, there was inadequate signage to explain how to get into the gated area. The bed mattress was hard.

Very old home, good condition, great location for people not looking for 5 star luxury but beautiful environment.

Stayed in the Inspector's Cottage. It was like being the lighthouse keeper in days of old as nobody else was staying in the other accommodation.

The walk to the lighthouse at night time rates a special mention. Loved the peace and quiet with the lapping sound of the sea to keep us company.
