I arrived and couldn't see how to get into the hotel as the door looked painted shut. I called the number and a man came out a door which looks like a separate property. He gave me a key. He seemed very nice friendly.
The bed was made but the floor had not been vacuumed. There was a kettle on the window sill and a tray with sugar on the side. No cups or tea bags. No towels, no shower gel or soap. I went down stairs and nobody about. No bell on the reception desk. So I called again. No answer. I opened the front door and pressed the ring doorbell. Nothing. I went behind the reception desk, opened the door which said private and shouted hello. Nothing. I continued this for 20 minutes. Eventually, the man walked through the front door. I told him about the room, he said that his colleague must have forgotten. He gave me a towel, toiletries and tea bags and milk. I thanked him. Once back in my room I realised that I still had no cup but I needed to leave to meet a friend.
I arrived back around midnight. I pulled back the bed covers and noticed that it wasn't clean. It was too late to do anything so got into bed. It was lying on lumpy concrete. The noise from outside was far too loud to sleep. The curtains were very thin so the room was very light At around 5am it was practically daylight in the room so I gave up trying to get to sleep. By now I was in alot of pain from the uncomfortable bed.
The shower wasn't too bad.
On leaving there was nobody about again.
