This is a decent motel to stay around New Taipei City. Although the name contains the word "hotel", it is fair to say this is a motel-level accommodation.
My room didn't have windows, so I couldn't describe the scenery outside, but it's a typical neighborhood (slightly less populated than the Taipei downtown) you would find in Taipei.
The room did have temperature control system, but the heater didn't work. It barely kept the temperature at 19~20 degree Celsius, so was a bit chilly for me. I had to take a hot shower and keep the hair dryer on for about an hour to keep the temperature around 22 degrees. Most motels in Taipei area don't have any heaters during winter times (December ~ February) and this really bothers me when I have to visit there. For more expensive hotels, they usually have better temperature control; so it's usually better to choose more expensive hotels in Taipei for this reason.
The breakfast is really basic. Eggs, veggies, rice, bread, etc. Not so special at all but should be able to keep your stomach full for a few hours.
The staff is really friendly. They speak good English, and reserved taxi for me when I left.
Transportation: It's situated close to MRT station (About 6~7 minutes by walk) so it is quite convenient. I stayed there to visit a client's office located close to this motel.
It takes about 20 minutes by MRT to reach Taipei main station, so, for those who would like to use High Speed Rail, it's not so bad.
