Little Gem in Marrac
Our stay at Riad Charme d’orient was nothing but AMAZING! Riad is located centrally, short distance to Medina, and local attraction. We were able to walk to all the following places: Bahia Palace, Spice Market, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Madrasa Ben Yousse, Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa-el Fnna, Souk Semmarine and even Majorelle Garden was walkable. What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional service. Sofian and Said in particular, were outstanding!! His client-oriented approach made us feel truly cared for during our stay. He was always available to assist with any request, offering great recommendations for day trip, location places, food/restaurant options and making sure every aspect of our visit was smooth. His warmth and dedication really added a personal touch to our experience. Special thanks the owner Laurence & Alain, was always so quick on answer any questions we had prior to our trip and during our stay. Merveilleux! Un havre de paix !
Un sens de l’hospitalité exceptionnel ! Un service haut de gamme tout en ayant l’impression d’être reçu chez des amis: on s'y sent bien. L’immersion dans ce riad est totale : la décoration sublime met en valeur les savoir-faire artisanaux locaux avec élégance. Le petit déjeuner, servi sur la terrasse, est copieux, local et absolument délicieux. Je recommande vivement le soin d'1h45 combinant hammam, gommage et massage, proposé directement sur le rooftop : un pur moment de détente ! Idéalement situé, à proximité de la place Jemaa El-Fna tout en étant à l’écart des nuisances sonores, ce riad est un véritable havre de paix. Merci à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse ! Customer Service At The Top
I stayed at this Riad for 3 days, and from the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, the service was impeccable. In 50 years of travel, I’ve never experienced such a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere. The location near the centre of Medina was ideal, and the interior design was beautiful. My room was spotless and cleaned daily, the rooftop was stunning, and the breakfast on it was excellent. I also enjoyed a top-notch massage. Special thanks to Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatimazahara, and Warda for making this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here! The staff are all super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The Riad itself was beautiful and it was a joy to return to the peace and tranquillity there after a days exploring. The location was good too, being a 10 minute walk to the main square.

This is an abosolutel wonderful little place to stay. It’s close to the centre and all the sights you would want to visit. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about what is around you and how best to get there.The hotel is compact and the rooms are amazing full of traditional features. We ate here twice and the food was traditional, flavoursome and plenty of it as is the breakfast, you are certainly set up for a day in the city. There is no rush here, and there is a great roof terrace to sit and relax. Laurence runs this Riad with her heart and is very welcoming which makes it a pleasure to stay and hard to leave.

This riad is one of the most magnificent places I’ve ever stayed. It offers everything you could imagine with the location, amenities, and experience. Our stay at Charme d'Orient was fantastic. The Riad itself was beautiful, the entire staff was extremely helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Marrakech. What a fabulous place ! The Riad was spotless and beautifully maintained. Comfortable rooms and lovely communal areas. A very good location; walkable to most places of interest. Laurence and her team were amazing; kind, welcoming and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and an evening meal taken there was delicious. They celebrated my birthday with music & a cake which was a lovely touch. I cannot recommend the Riad highly enough.

High quality Riad near major Marrakech sites
Outstanding Riad with beautiful lobby, large and comfortable room, very nice breakfast and absolutely super staff. Quiet location, easy walking distance to main Jemaa-Fna square and other tourist sites. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough of the hospitality of this riad. The best service we ever received.The whole staff is just great and welcoming. You will not regret booking this place. The breakfast was also excellent. Great location, close to a lot of shops, restaurants and attractions. If I ever come back to Marrakesh I'll be coming to this riad.

The Riad is charming and elegant. The decor evokes all that is reflective of the country and its culture. Most importantly, all of the staff are exceptionally hospitable.

The location of this riad is perfect. Easy walk to the main square and some great sites. The staff was absolutely amazing. Said was non stop working and just so nice the entire time. I loved the roof top breakfast it was a great start to the day. The riad is a bit noisy as guests voices do echo but otherwise it’s very peaceful. There’s a ton of rules at this riad which I didn’t expect the biggest being no alcohol or food in your rooms. None of the other riads we stayed at had these rules. Our room also smelled like sewage all the time which I think the hotel masked with air fresheners. I saw other complaints about this and it was quite disgusting. Based on the rules and the smell I am not sure we’d stay again
