I would say it was amazing. The service was great. It's a little slower than what we're used to in the United States, but all the same pretty good. Check-in Ms. Kassandra and Ms. Claudia truly amazing. They need a raise. The food was great compared to anywhere else at any other resort that we've eaten at in jamaica. There are no elevators but there are a bunch of rooms on the ground floor and 2nd floor. Hotel was very boutique-y and vintage, but in a good way. I will definitely come back. Planning on bringing the kids next spring break. The beach and the accessibility to shops and attractions were great. Everything within walking distance. Most of the locals are helpful, but you still have to be mindful of scams with taxis and watch out for female drivers. They seem to be the ones. That I use to run the most scams. The older ladies help us around the city, it gives a real community sense of community. We bought local with the local vendors first before going to any commercial businesses. And they were great felt safe for the most part, but I am a New Yorker, so it is about the same environment/ culture. Vendors were pushy, but polite, so a simple no, thank you and continuing to walk on by works well. Tips are not necessary, but are appreciated.One u s dollar goes a long way.
