Unhelpful, rude staff
Where do I even start?! First, know that none of your hotels.com perks will be honored. No potential for an upgrade and they wanted to ignore the platinum free breakfast perk. As far as the actual stay? Woof, thatโs a saga. We got back to our room around 1am after attending a concert. We immediately noticed the battery on the fire alarm was chirping every 90 seconds at an alarmingly loud and piercing volume. We alerted the front desk and they sent up a โsecurity guardโ to check it out. This guy was all of 25, heard the chirp and called the desk back stating we needed a new room. Not an option. He comes back about 10 minutes later with a 5ft ladder to fix the problem. Mind you, heโs not much taller than myself (5โ5) and the ceilings are about 15ft. He proceeds to โset upโ the ladder (I had to lock it in place for him) and attempts to climb the wrong side. I corrected him before he could hurt himself. He, visibly not a fan of ladders or heights, gets to the third step before he realizes this ladder isnโt big enough. He says thereโs another ladder but itโs too big to move and says heโll be back in touch. I took the time to close the ladder back up, as heโd clearly never operated one.
Meanwhile, the front desk tells us theyโre at 100% capacity and thereโs one room thatโs booked that they canโt give up until 2:30-3a. We ask for ear plugs, 1 set of earplugs were brought to the room not 2. Never got a call for a new room and wanted to fight a refund after no sleep. Stay away.
