Property was disgusting and falling apart. The room looked nothing like advertised. No toilet seat, no shower head, the shower was open in the room and would flood the floor. The bed was nailed to plywood, all bedding was thin and extremely uncomfortable. I cannot say enough bad things about this hotel. We tried to see if they were on the BBB to get them shut down. The city of Miami should be investigating this property for health code violations. DO NOT STAY HERE, I CANNOT EMPHASIS IT ENOUGH.

The rooms were out dated and looked nothing like the pictures online. The "cleaner" of the 3 rooms we were shown had a broken hot tub, and i use cleaner very loosly. We didnt even stay there and after being told we wouldn't get charged for canceling we still got charged for the first night. These were more like $60 a night rooms, not what they charge.

Needed a room because I was stuck in Miami due to the bad weather. The bathroom was updated; however, the room itself did not match the aesthetics. The bed was terrible but I just needed somewhere (that wasn’t the airport) to sleep. The “front desk” lady was super sweet!!!

Here are two polished, honest review options you can use for Galveston Cove Hotel. Both are firm and factual, without exaggeration. Detailed & Professional My stay at Galveston Cove Hotel from December 26–27 was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. The hot water barely worked, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The microwave in the room was heavily rusted, which is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. Even more troubling was the presence of mold in the room, creating an unpleasant and unhealthy environment during my stay. These issues clearly indicate poor maintenance and lack of attention to basic guest comfort and safety. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel and believe significant improvements are urgently needed. Short & Direct Very bad experience at Galveston Cove Hotel (12/26–12/27). The room had a really strong smell, a lot of hair all over the room. The room was dirty, I asked for a broom and swept the floors myself (see pics). If you don’t speak Spanish you’re dead in the water.

The morning staffing was great, I had a minor issue and it was corrected immediately. The hotel was very close to the airport and a reasonable distance to the Port for my cruise ship. Good place to stay at a reasonable price. Local food and restaurants nearby for quick eats and their is a nice kinda upscale restaurant and party area not far away.(Within walking distance) There's a 24 hour laundry mat also in reasonable walking distance as well.i met a few nice people staying there and it's also pet friendly. The check in staff could be a little better but I do believe the miscommunication was due to a language barrier issue and the newer staffing operations but all in all nice place to stay will do again when I fly into Miami....
