In a good location, but if u want to be next to the rim stay at another hotel. This one is centrally located. Room are clean and beds comfortable.

Great location in the canyon park

The lodge was clean, not a lot of accommodations outside the bed. Only stayed for a quick night before hiking the canyon.

Wonderful in Yavapai

The lodge was great and I wish I booked more than 1 night. It was great to have a good view of the Grand canyon and the dark area was brilliant for star gazing.

Great space to stay for grand canyon

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was very spacious and lovely and clean. The coffee and amenities were great. The shower had good water pressure. Bus stop and parking was right outside so very convenient.

Great lodge.

We stayed in Yavapi East and would do so again. No microwave but the place was clean, comfortable, could open windows, had ac. Made our stay at the GC restful.

This is a huge complex, basic comfort, a little worn in places like the bathroom. Quiet and convenient to the park bus system

Fine for a few hours when visiting the Canyon

The Park is the star, and the hotel did us fine for one night, although it didnt feel value for money at all. Would have been cheaper if we'd booked nearer the time.

Grand Canyon trip

Very nice and quiet lodge near the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Just a short drive to actually see the canyon and lots of stuff in between. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kennel was a nice touch. Bathroom was kinda small but it did the trick for a one night stay. I would definitely come back.

Grand Canyon getaway

I enjoyed my stay at the Yavapai Lodge. From the outside it looks rustic, but the inside looked like a regular hotel room. It was within walking distance to the rim and to the Market Village. The only complaint I had with it was the bed was very hard, but I am used to a softer mattress. Loved the location.
Darlene, 3-night trip

Comfortable stay super close to the rim

Yavapai Lodge was perfect for 3 friends travelling together to the Grand Canyon. Comfortable, clean, with coffee pods and a fridge to boot. Short 5min walk to the Village Market and to the buses and a short drive or 20 min walk to the rim. No frills but didn’t miss anything as we were out exploring most of each day. Would highly recommend and would happily stay again!
Veronica, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Village Idiot!

Needed a better explanation of the make up of Grand Canyon Village - more a widespread collection of resorts than a village. Otherwise, all was good and the shuttle service very useful
Nicholas, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great Location inside the park

Great location inside the park. Shuttle bus stops near the property, making for easy travel around the park without a car. The property is right next to Market Plaza, where there are a couple of dining options as well as a small supermarket. Rooms are pretty outdated but clean, and having two adults and a high schooler in the two-queen room was cozy. The West rooms open to the outside, so one can sit outside the front door and enjoy the forest, and we were treated to an elk right outside the front door one morning.
Andrew, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Austere decor which was somewhat dated. It was clean. Bathroom had peeling linoleum. The beds were comfortable and the location is convenient for exploring the Grand Canyon. Pictures when I booked seemed nicer than our room.
Melanie, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Just okay

The location was better than average but the self-check in worked well but I felt completely uninformed and it was night, so finding the actual room was a bit of a struggle.Rooms were very average.
1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We had everything we needed except a spectacular view. I didn't realize the AC was set to Auto until I was leaving. Having the AC cycle on and off was disturbing. We had a wonderful time while visiting the area.
Craig, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location

Check in was terrible, the lady misread the ID and checked the wrong person in. It took forever for her to correct the mistake. She did not apologize. Rooms are big and nice. Water pressure is pretty much do not exist. It took 5min for the water to reach the shower, another 10 to get warm. Parking space directly in front of the hotel! Location is great.
Johann, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Best mattress of my entire vacation

After 2+ weeks of traveling, I appreciated how comfortable the bed was. The best of all. We liked parking right at our door. I could not read the room numbers from the parking lot. They should be bigger and brighter. Confusing numbering system with two of every bldg. An East and west. Frustrating instructions. But, we would stay again and recommend it.
