Would stay here again

Clean, comfortable and a great location

Excellent Stay Inside Yellowstone!

We loved staying at the Canyon Lodge & Cabins! The room was lovely (better than the photos). No air conditioning but wasn't ever needed. We walked to the Lodge dining area / cafeteria and had a great dinner and breakfasts and we were so close to the Yellowstone Grand Canyon, what a beautiful spot!

8/10 Very good

Nice place. But not a lot of extra amenities. Food and beverage options were very limited on site.
Tim, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel was quite nice. The food options are cafeteria style...definitely not a 4 or 5 star, but sufficient. What was great is that the hotel does have a laundry room and when hiking, necessary. It is centrally located to all of the sites and the general store is nearby to replenish anything that we needed. We loved how it catered to families and we would recommend the lodge to anyone visiting Yellowstone.

Whirlwind Yellowstone

The lodge was beautiful, but we came in after dark and it was difficult to find where to check in. Convenient location for sightseeing. Wish we had more than 1 day!

Best location for visiting Yellowstone

Great place!

Location is absolutely astonishing. But we’re here to feedback the hotel and not nature. The rooms are very clean and my two queen was generously spacious. There were no parking issues and checking in, despite a short wait time (largest accommodations in YS). Moreover, the counter person was informative, friendly and very efficient. Loved Yellowstone, loved the canyon and loved this hotel.

Great stay in the middle of the Park.

6/10 Good

Comfortable but not a good night’s sleep.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were small and the air con noise from somewhere in the hotel, perhaps the floor below, was like sleeping on a speaker with the bass passing through my head. No sleep. The facilities were great. The check in staff member was so helpful and patient.

Nice property

Check in was quick an easy. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and provided the basics that we needed. No tv but no biggie! Everything was nice and clean. Would recommend !

Great location to get further North into Yellowstone park. Added bonus that they had electric chargers
Ashwin, 2-night trip

Nice location. Dated facility and fixtures

The nice part: located in canyon village in the middle of the park. But the hotel dated. Beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets were all mediocre.

Beautiful cabin, excellent service, internet is poor but we are in the middle of the national park, so that’s expected.. walking distance to North Rim of Canyon

Camping in a hotel setting

Great location, I was surprised that they had no TV. Not a big deal just surprised me. There WIFI is not good, hard to get and stay on line. We enjoyed the room’s logical setup. Great Wolfgang puck coffee! Staff was excellent. Picture was taken from our window in our room.

Food and house keeping need help.

The room was nice and good size. My only complaint is house keeping, they never replaced dirty coffee cups or emptied the coffee make. When I checked in there was still old coffee in the maker! Never cleaned the bathroom counter while staying along with coffee issues. The only decent food I could get was at the bar in the eatery, the rest was expensive and not good. Other hotels had much better options and food was good. Thank god for the Bar!

Canyon lodge nice village setting..lots of dining options but limited vegan choices..quality not very good vegan food for the price(tasteless) cute gift shops and general store

Worth it!

When it comes to in-park accommodations, this location was fantastic! There is no air conditioning or tv, but that is part of staying in the park. A fan was provided (we also brought one), and the mini-fridge was very helpful! As others have mentioned, food in the park is meh, but if you manage your expectations, it’s fine. However, the room itself is the best I’ve stayed at in the park and it is fairly centrally located. Also, we had a bison graze right in front of our window twice. Would definitely stay here again!!

I appreciated the rustic decor, the quiet surroundings and being able to park reasonably close. The bed was comfortable and the room was of adequate size. The heater worked well on a cold day. The shower was relaxing.

In the park lodges are the best option for seeing any National Park. Location is everything In a park this size. I do miss the high speed internet and the food choices need to be better but in truth that is not why I was there.
