Great stay and also a perfect location! A short 11 min walk from Santa Lucia station so pretty accessible. Very centrally location to access shops, restaurants etc. Had a little trouble entering the property and finding the reception but we tried out luck and Samantha was there to welcome us! It’s the first stairs one the left after you enter :) The property is very clear and well maintained. Had a lovely experience ❤️

Such good location! I’m glad we picked this hotel as we were able to walk to train station and all the other things we wanted to see. It’s also on a quieter street which is good! Room was spacious! Really lovely old character property, but with modern bathrooms. Excellent location too. Close to the main walking route into the station, but still very quiet at night. If you stay here you must go up the road instead if down it as the area in this direction is a beautiful canal with lovely restaurants all up one side and nice character buildings. I did a lot of walking all over Venice and I’d say this is one of the nicest areas to go in the evenings and it’s just a couple of minutes from the hotel. Loved everything about the hotel too and would recommend

My daughter and I had a great time in Venice and would highly recommend staying at Antico Protego. The room was spotless and comfortable. Nicole was excellent at responding quickly via WhatsApp and we received all info required prior to arriving. The location couldn’t be better with easy access to both the train station and the water shuttle. Also very close to many restaurants and other amenities. Had a tricky time finding it at first as the sign shown in the pictures is not there. Thank you to all staff for a lovely stay.
