Excellent choice for our 1 week stay - the room was charming, excellent location, most friendly and accommodating staff, and probably the better rated cuisine. We have been going to this friendly fishing village for a number of years and have always stayed in this vicinity - we will be back again next year and most likely will return to Espuma! Please dont tell too many people, as we hope to get reservations again - just kidding! A Gem to enjoy!!! n

Perfect Vacation!
Amazing views, delicious food, attentive staff. I can't say enough great things about Espuma. Luis, Hugo, Juan, and I wish I got the name of the woman who cleaned our room and decorated it for my husband's birthday, they made us feel like family. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Espuma was spectacular. The luxury suite was top notch and a good value for a more upscale experience. Luis was always there to make suggestions for how we spent our time for the local experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. They personally took care of our transportation into Zihuatanejo and the airport rides as we needed them. We were there for a full week and would recommend their hotel to anyone. I will be referring friends. Thanks again!

My stay here was simply amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly, very attentive and always went the extra mile! The room was small but lovely and the terrace view was beautiful. The pool was more of a plunge pool but was perfect since the property only has 4 rooms. The place was super quiet & private with spectacular views from the restaurant on-site!

My wife and I stayed at the Espuma Hotel and Restaurant for eight days. We had a wonderful experience. We travel a lot and we have never had such wonderful and nice staff, from the person who greets you at the entrance of the hotel and restaurant, to the cleaning staff, waiters and waitresses in the restaurant, Omero who is responsible for security, and the wonderful Manager Alonso. His service in all areas is not just to please you but to help you in every way. What we find amazing is that each person greets you with a smile from their hearts. Also, the view from the hotel rooms to the restaurant is spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you for your exceptional work and dedication. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and serene property. The views and sunsets were amazing. We had breakfast every morning overlooking the bay and sailboats. Staff was attentive and friendly, food was delicious! Location was perfect for people that love to walk (although taxis are easy to find and inexpensive). Espuma is a halfway between town and playa ropa, with lots of restaurants in between. I highly recommend and hope to return soon.

The best stay we've ever had in Zihuatanejo Since we live in NY, my wife and I´ve been coming 3 consecutive years to the paradise that is Zihuatanejo, the two first years, we stayed at 2 of the 5-star Hotels, and this third time we decided to experience the Espuma Hotel, hanging on the cliff, at our room we felt practically been flying over the waves, the view and the location are second to none, the service was always warm and friendly. Our Suite (the hotel has only 3 rooms) is really spacious, and its private big terrace with a small pool, sun chairs, and an outdoor shower, are the perfect combination to don´t want to ever have to leave! I must add that the food at the Restaurant is delicious and excellent service. I especially thanks Carmen for all her help during our stay. We can't wait to go back! Jason M

The view is killer, the service not so much. 1. No phone in the room, unheard of. 2. TV is tiny and not working, it took them three days to replace it with one that we had to configure ourselves (it was a ROKU TV), only streaming services most of them worked but some didn't since we were in MX. Just as small and since the room was so huge, so kind us useless. 3. We asked four times for additional pillows, and it took three days until we finally got them. The restaurant upstairs is excellent, and so is its sister Hotel Tentaciones. The owner, Carlos calls himself the Architect was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the lack of responsiveness from the staff. Also, since it's surrounded by greenery, there are giant ants, salamanders, and many flying, biting insects. I counted 23 on myself. So five stars, I don't think so. Nevertheless, I would go back there equipped with Bug Spray and make sure that all is in working condition in advance.
