One of the best hotels you can stay in the taichung area. Has a Shopping mall (Sogo) beside the hotel, on the ground floor there is also Watsons, 7-11 and family mart for any of your needs. Room is comfortable

Everything was awesome except the smelly carpet and out-of-work electric toilet seat. I particularly appreciate the high ceiling room which I never met in any hotel. The bathroom with shower and bathtub is oversized. Nearby with Sogo store department and lots of shopping stores and restaurants. Nearby bus stations… very happy with Airline Inn.

Attractive Taichung location, clean & quiet rooms and responsive & responsible staff. Appreciated the larger room from Expedia GOLD upgrade. Small quirks with room: shower handle is somewhat loose so it looks like it can drop after shower. Wifi just worked at first, but takes us some trying to reconnect later on. NTD 325 food credit ended up being a discount to a (very good, actually) local restaurant- perk description needs update to minimize confusion. Their in-house coin-op laundry (with free detergent!) is a plus as well. Overall a great stay- recommend for your Taichung trip.

A Decent Stay That Has Potential

The hotel is good for a budget friendlier stay in a prime location, where you have accessibility to a lot of eateries, a big department store and convenience stores like Family Mart (right on the corner). However, the rooms can be better. They are clean, but there are things that can be definitely improved. There were slight stains on the walls, the carpet looked worn and felt like it needed a deep cleaning. The air within the room felt very damp and made it somewhat hard to breathe. IOverall, these are all things that I can somewhat overlook but this hotel has the potential of being even better so why not make the necessary improvements?

We booked a 12 night stay at this hotel over Christmas. Overall, the location is fantastic and the front desk staff are great. The staff tried its best to help me with any issues encountered. The biggest negative with the hotel is the cleanliness and lack of amenities. The hotel room carpets are stained and windows look dirty which lead to an overall impression that the room isn't clean. I also saw a very large dead cockroach stuck to the exterior walls of the elevator shaft which was a huge turn-off for me. The building the hotel is located is also shared with many different businesses. Which mean that non-hotel guests can access hotel room floors which is a security concern for me. Filtered water dispensers are not located on all the hotel floors. But bottled water is provided by the hotel. The hot water kettle provided in our first hotel room was also made of plastic which I was hesitant to use given the high risk of microplastics or melted plastic exposure. The free breakfast provided by the hotel was good. They had hot buffet style foods. The selection was not large, but adequate and had some fresh fruit also (mainly watermelon and pineapple slices). As an Expedia VIP member, I was also given a 324NT food credit to use. However, as the hotel does not have a restaurant, we had to use the credit at a designated restaurant. When we went to use the credit, the restaurant informed us that we had to buy something in order to use the credit which is not right.

It was a very unpleasant experience we had in Taiwan. On google map, the hotel is listed as a 4-star hotel. However, the entrance of the hotel is very hard to find, and it is sharing entrance with a shopping mall. There is no clear sign of the hotel entrance. The front desk is very small and there is no even one couch to sit on. 4-star?? very odd. The parking garage is in basement, and it has all these oily metal chains dangling down from the ceiling, why?? The parking space is very small, and cars need to squeeze in and hard to get out. What is even worse was there was some sort of electrical noise constantly on the guest room floor. It felt very disturbing. We booked for two nights. But our parents couldn't stand the noice, so we had to find another hotel on the first day. When I returned key to hotel front desk and told them reason why we couldn't stay, I was told that they would not be able to refund the first night. That would be ok. What's even disappointing was later hotel denied that they said they could refund us for the second night. They decided to charge us two full nights even we didn't stay single night. It was a very disappointing experience for us in Taiwan. It was a shame since I had such a good impression of Taiwan before I visited there.
