First, the good: The room was fine once we figured out how to get there, made it inside, and closed the door.
BUT… it feels like someone just acquired some studio apartments in what looks like a 1970s-era Soviet tenement housing block. This is not a hotel with a front desk or any actual staff. The "free shuttle" is, in fact, the city bus. No one at ICN had any idea what we were talking about when we asked how to get to this "hotel" or locate its shuttle.
The drab walls in the building’s hallways reminded us of the late-stage capitalistic dystopian hellscape we’re all destined to live in one day (see the image I’ll attach here).
Overall, #respect to the crew trying to make this a thing. The room really was clean and comfortable.
If you’re booking this expecting a "real" hotel experience, you’re better off making another choice, IMO. This would be better marketed as an Airbnb than a typical airport hotel.
PS… After paying for the "free shuttle" (I said screw it and took a large taxi for my group and all our bags instead of lugging everyone onto the city bus), we should’ve just stayed at the Ibis for the same amount of money.
