Very friendly and helpful property manager (Gianni) with useful suggestions and recommendations for restaurants, shops, etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the location was about the best spot you could get in the historic center, in a quiet little side street but only a 30 second walk to the only coffee bar that opened before 8am (I enjoy coffee by 7:00-7:30!), and a 2 minute walk (if that) to many restaurants, bars, etc. The shower was a bit tiny and cramped but otherwise the bathroom was roomy and the kitchen was very handy. My room was in a structure with a pleasant rooftop terrace that I enjoyed for sunset and a glass of wine on a couple of evenings! It’s an ideal place to enjoy the region…A 15 minute walk to the train station (where you can take a 4 minute train to Polignano a Marr for a day trip).
