Clean, quiet and convenient hostel. Also there are supermakets nearby(10 min. by walk), so we could prepare our meals without spending much time and energy finding marts.

Not even close to advertised

Misleading pictures and descriptions. The geo thermal pool is a block away and community, not on site and you have to pay. The bathrooms were tiny, dirty and the woman’s room had no lock. Most dispensers had no paper towel and the overall feel was grimy.

Wouldnt stay again

No front desk for this property. Per the cleaning lady: "if its not between 4pm and 9pm, staff does not usually respond. Like many others i did NOT receive a message with check in info, but I was aware that they frequently have this issue and called in the morning for my door code. Its time for a chahge in how you handle check in, Riverside. Rooms were clean. No rug or shoe rack, so lots of dirt and pebbles get tracked in. Spacious kitchen that is stocked with cooking ware. The walls are thicker than other hostels we have stayed, but the front door slams and can be heard through open windows. We counted 12 rooms, but only 1 bathroom for men. 2 for women. There is an extra unisex one through the kitchen, but the window lines up with the toilet (prepare to moon the neighbors). Showers do not have curtains, or locks on the door. You have to cross the bathroom naked to retrieve your clothes (unless you want them soaked in the shower with you). Mens bathroom also leaks under the wall, so when anyone showers the toilet is soaked around it on the floor. Good price, good location, but just missing too many things and a bit too greedy. We would not stay again.

Inadmissible. Une chambre sale : des touffes de cheveux par terre, un évier sale et bouché... Sans parler de la salle de bain pleine de moisissures, sale et avec des traces partout. Les torchons sont sales, tâchés et ne sont semble t'il jamais changés

rapport qualité/Prix plutôt pas mal

bien que la devanture mérite un bon rafraichissement, à l'intérieur c'est plutôt pas mal. Une vraie cuisine partagée avec tous les ustensiles. Micro-ondes, réfrigérateur bouilloire, machine à eau fraiche. Notre chambre un peu petite mais fonctionnelle et literie très correcte. Un petit bémol sur la propreté des douches

Le check in était un cauchemar, aucun code reçu à l’avance pour accéder à la chambre il y a un numéro à joindre, aucune réponse après 21 appels…heureusement que hôtels.com à réussi a les joindre et à nous donner le code après 1h de galère. Serviette de bain des clients précédents restée dans l’armoire…Le + : Ce n’est pas cher et les équipements communs ne sont pas mal.

Fantastic accommodation, only hiccup was not receiving the codes prior and that no obe answered on the phone number provided. Another guest provided an email address and the check in eas then quicly sorted. Suggestion: Please provide a note with email as well as the phobe number for cobtact in the foyer and state that they have an open wifi connection for which allows for email to be sent ( especially for foreign ttravellers.) Very happy overall!

The accommodations themselves were nice, but the space likely needed more care than an off-site manager. The women's restroom had two stalls, both of which did not have toilet paper accessible from the dispensers. No other backup toiletpaper was available. No paper towels were available for drying hands at the sink. The kitchen had no dishsoap for the communal dishes. All of these things were brought up via the hotels.com chat to the hotel, and no response was received during our stay there. The shower areas had a single body-gel/soap product and did not have standard shampoo/conditioner/soap as separate products. Bring shower shoes if you don't want to step on the common shower floor. The beds were comfortable, room had enough space compared to other rooms we had stayed in in Iceland so it was nice to be able to to open the suitcase and still step around it.

Meget beskidt. Fællesområderne var ekstremt snavsede. Badeværelserne var ikke blevet gjordt rent i meget lang tid. Virkelig ulækkert. Faciliteterne i køkkenet var fedtede og der var hverken opvaskemiddel eller rene viskestykker. Derudover lugtede der dårligt over det hele. Et sted man bare ville væk fra hurtigst muligt. Sidst men ikke mindst, havde de ikke styr på deres kommunikation i form af indtjekning, så vi ventede i lang tid udenfor da de havde glemt at sende indtjekningskoden til os. Vi kan på ingen måde anbefale andre at komme hertil.
