Southwestern scenery and living.
This is a basic but clean hotel in good repair. I really liked the sink, because it was good sized and had a high faucet. The staff was friendly and very helpful regardless of one's need. They are short staffed, because of the remote location and distance to people's homes. Don't expect a lot of restaurants, but those available in hotels are good, Be aware, it is across the street from the Navajo reservation, and they are always on mountain time while Arizona time doesn't change. Your smart phone can pick up either signal. So wear a not smart watch so that you can have a point of reference

Not great. Keep looking.
The service was not great. Food was mostly fried and over priced. They advertised new rooms but they have an old block of rooms that are not great at all and that's what we got. Beautiful location and nice dining facility but I would not return nor recommend it.

renovated cabins are good
I was running late at the North Rim, rang the reception, was put on hold for > 20 minutes, extra stressful. Otherwise, new rooms are great.

We were given a room in the "old" part of hotel. Broken slider, toilet ran, shower door would not close & faucet would not stop running. I mentioned this to front desk, who had nothing to say. There were at least 4 other choices to give us, none were offered. We were "billed" $806 for who knows what...still waiting for refund from this and the 2nd night when there was no electricity & no idea when it would come back on.

4/10 Fair

Unfortunately they have renovated the dining and check-in area, but the rooms were very run down, with extremely noisy air conditioners that required ear plugs to sleep, bathroom fixtures that were broken, and water from the tap that smelled terrible and like heavy sulphur, with no way to open a window or sliding glass door to vent the smell as the sliding door was so corroded it wouldn't move in it's track. Prices are up, but room quality is worse than before. Food was good in the restaurant however.

The place has been updated since i last stayed here, 9 years ago. It's a nice place. The restaurant is limited, but decent. The surrounding view s are really nice.

Inwas scared as my husband booked and I couldnt tell if it had wifi or air conditioning. It had both. Some of the reviews were horrible. I want to say the entire place was immaculate. The view from my room was breathtaking. Everything was updated. I wish i could have stayed longer.

This amazing hotel is on the edge of the Colorado river, a three minute walk from the Lee Ferry pedestrian bridge in the singularly most stunning location I’ve ever spent the night. Excellent recent renovations to the whole facility including tastefully modern rooms and an inviting and surprisingly robust on-site restaurant and gift shop. This is a stellar, magical place.
