We reserved a deluxe double or twin room and got upgraded to a much bigger room with a separate single bedroom. We were on the 2nd floor so can hear the metro running below us, it did not bother me much but my husband had to turn on his white noise machine to block the sound. Our friend stayed on the 5th floor and said they bearly can hear the metro. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by.

Good location for walking to shops but the hotel is small. The nearest small store selling water is Rapid Market. Traditional lift very small only one person with 2 luggage.

First family visit to Paris

Everything was great except for a deafening sound due to lift maintenance issue and especially disruptive when we try to sleep and it woke us up multiple times early morning when people start to use the lift. Recep during check-in was very helpful; location was awesome, walking distance to Louvre, Palais Garnier and shopping area.

The room for 3 had a door between queen and twin rooms was excellent and big by Paris standards. There is a small elevator. Excellent location for tourists. Constant hum from the subway but I didn’t mind. Breakfast was satisfying but uninspired. Ask for scrambled eggs if you don’t want to mess with cooking your own soft or hard boiled. No view.

This is my second visit at the Hotel George sand. All the staff are friendly and the room is spacious and comfortable. Also, the location of the hotel is very good.

Staff was polite and the breakfast was fine. However, several small items in the room were broken such as the lampshade and the mirror in the bathroom. In addition, the air conditioning absolutely did not cool off the room and we had to keep windows open.
