Superb Coastal Guest House - Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Min y Don as part of a North Wales road trip. From the warm welcome to the beautifully finished suite with sea views, to the huge choice of delicious gourmet breakfasts, this is a very special guest house and well worth the price. Owners Paul and Sharon were wonderful hosts and Paul even treated us to a few magic tricks over breakfast - which was the icing on the cake for my teenage son! We have no hesitation in recommending Min y Don to others.

Incredible hosts, Paul and Sharon, incredible room, incredible bed, incredible view of the Irish Sea. Impeccably clean and comfortable. Convenient private parking and close to a footpath that can take you miles along the shore.

Quality hotel, quality service

Fabulous location. The service was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the new decoration is quite plush. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was good quality better than a top hotel in Llandudno that we have stayed in. Thank you S and P

1 night weekend stay for the Velocity Zipwire

I stayed in the Min y Don with my partner as part of a surprise weekend for his birthday. The guest house was very easy to find amongst the long line of impressive sea-view buildings, and there was a lovely christmas tree outside due to the local lights being switched on. We were welcomed by the owners who were so warming from the outset, and we were taken to our room. The room itself was very impressive and had a very home-feel to it. There were also very impressive chandeliers throughout the guest house! The bed was so comfy and large, and the view was lovely of the seafront too. In the morning we both ordered the large breakfast which was cooked very quickly for us and was delicious. We had equally a warm goodbye where we were wished well with our zipwire.

A real gem

“A real gem” Pending review Daniel W (1 review) London, United Kingdom Thank you Sharon and Paul! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay with you. The guest house is in a great location - close to Snowdon for walking, Bangor for eating and Beaumaris and Penmon for sightseeing. We had a lovely view of the beach, bay and headland from our room the 'Lighthouse room'. The bed is extremely comfortable and the whole hotel is freshly renovated and very clean. We also had access to a lovely bathroom with a large jacuzzi - great to relax after a long day's walking. Sharon and Paul are wonderful people - we really enjoyed chatting to them throughout or stay and they gave us lovely recommendations for meals out and things to do in our short stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We will definitely be back and I personally feel the guest house is a real gem - and great value for money. Thank you again and see you soon! Paul is a fantastic magician and we really enjoyed our magic show on our last day...and when it was my birthday Sharon made sure there were delicious cakes waiting for me when I came back from our day walking Snowdon! Thanks very much again, Dan and Naomi.
