"Really good hotel. 24hr reception and check in helped us as we didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the welcome was excellent. Family room was clean and fantastic. Will definitely use again."
"Friendly and unusual hotel. Limited food but other places close by. Lovely woodland gardens - but floodlights at night made the room bright. If you want a different stay with an unusually themed country house feel then this is the place."
"Property is in a great position and is great value for money. Room 12 was spacious and comfy.
Eclectic furnishings add a quirky feel to the place.
Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. "
"Very pleasant stay, hotel was clean and tidy, lovely breakfast too. Only thing was the hot tub had too much chlorine in that it was stinging mine and my partners eyes just sitting in it so we couldnt stay in it long."
"I did a bad review in my second stay in the hotel. It was very disappointed even more the first stay was wonderful. I give them another try and they make it for the bad experience. So I give them back the 5* because they fix the problem and now I can said again that I recommend it and it will make your estay Wonderfull!!! "
"We were there for one night, room and bed were comfortable, only issue is that like many UK hotels there is no air conditioning so the room is hot at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. "
"Great one night stay, very comfortable pleasant hotel would certainly stay again and so close to the beach too
staff were all very helpful and freindly too would recommend"
"For us, just a one night stay. A clean comfortable room, although a little basic, all in a lovely old building. Easy parking, helpful staff, great restaurant with excellent food for both breakfast & dinner. A very pleasant stay!! "
"Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff were warm and attentive, and the service offered solid value for money. That said, the balcony could have benefited from more thorough cleaning, and the absence of in-room WiFi was a notable drawback—especially since access was limited to the lobby. With a few improvements in cleanliness and connectivity, the hotel has the potential to offer an even more comfortable and enjoyable stay."
"I absolutely love the Burlington Hotel. It's bang smack on the seafront, everything works, the beds are comfortable and it's at a very affordable price. Thank you Burlington, lovely."
"The restaurant was lovely and they had a great chef with imaginative ideas. We loved our evening meal at a reasonable price. Several lounge areas and a bar to sit quietly with a drink and a book.very good value hotel. Thankyou. "
"Mould covered the bathroom walls, old out dated mixed furniture, four poster bed no curtain. The curtain rail missing in most places, which needed a good paint job. mattress kept coming off bed.
No Pressure in shower. Tv put on wall lopsided, no one on reception, and when you finally caught up with host she was rude!! Asked us to leave room a day early she'd double booked room!! Dreadful "
"Very comfortable night at the Sheldon B&B. Single room on 2nd floor with en-suite shower. Tea and coffee available in the room.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Excellent breakfast.
Easy walk to promenade. "
"Close to everything! Easy walking distance from the train station, minutes from the town centre and beach. My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget getaway. We will come to stay again, thank you!"
"5 star run hotel. Clean welcoming staff always happy to help.
Management have gone over and above to help me with any questions regarding my stay with them. Room is very clean modern and spacious. Good supply of tea etc. Great accessible location. I will definitely book again."
