"An amazing hotel, fantastic staff. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at and I stay at hotels often! The decor and the esthetic is next level. "
"This is our third stay at the Deadwood Miners Hotel. The staff were very friendly and very pleasant. The hotel could use a little sprucing up however it’s a decent hotel for a decent price and good proximity to downtown Deadwood. The Deadwood trolley picks you up pretty much out front and takes you downtown and then drops you off when you’re ready. We would stay here again."
"Paul at the front desk was incredible. Friendly, personable & professional. I've worked hospitality at 3 properties-he deserves a raise. The breakfast was good & the attendant kept an eye on things. We are new rewards members & will be back!"
"We arrived early and, as expected, our room wasn't ready.
Unfortunately the hotel has nowhere to store luggage so we had to leave it in our vehicle on a public car park which isn't ideal. At the time of writing, August 2025, the car park is free to guests as the hotel car part is under renovation,
Check in was smooth and the room was large and clean.
Staying in such an historic hotel while in Deadwood was fantastic."
"It wasn't down town so we didn't have to deal with the ridiculous parking in down town deadwood hotels. The restaurant was excellent as were the waitresses. The food was more than I could eat and excellent. The casino was clean and fun. free beer and wine if you gamble. So close to deadwood. its own entity. Our 4th tip to Deadwood, found the perfect place. We are booked for a family of 6 in December 2025. can't wait. Love Deadwood"
"Check in: friendly, excellent. Parking garage: the elevator was out on arrival and departure dates. Had to schlep my heavy bags up and down stairs. I also hate that guests have to OSU for parking when other hotels had free parking. Good: had 2 great breakfasts at Dales. Service was good, fast. Rooms: nice, comfortable, clean. Other stuff: nice patio to sit, read, talk, have a drink. Close to everything you want to do in Deadwood."
