La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairbanks Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Property had more than adequate parking. This one particular shuttle driver not only drove us from the airport to the hotel, but also later recommended a nearby excellent restaurant for 3 family members by driving us to it. He also had offered us to drive us back to the hotel after a late lunch. But we instead had walked back to the hotel. The following day, he drove us to enterprise for a rental car at the airport. Great service."
"The property was adorable! The cottages were clean and quaint. All the extra necessities were available in the room - microwave, fridge, coffee maker. We enjoyed walking along the path by the river. The pathways lined by hedges reminded me of Alice in Wonderland. The cottages each had their own beautiful hanging baskets as well as the main lodge. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was amazing and so delicious! We will definitely return again. "
"We love Pike’s! Totally off the charts Alaskan kitsch. It borders on the absurd but always stays JUST inside the line. Have stayed there many times over the years for work and family trips. Excellent Alaskan regional Art (Fejes, DeRoux, Matchetanz, etc.) and … ducks, stuffed dead animals, ice cream and neon! What’s not to love? Stay here. It is not another anonymous tourist hotel. On the river, plenty beer, ice cream, and bocce. You will have a story to tell when you get home. "

"Found door locked for security when tried to open door front desk visible thru window but still had to buzz in to tell them were checking in. Noticed surrounding businesses had padlock chains after closing . Did not feel very safe walking in neighborhood "
