Our room was unfortunately next to a family with small kids and no regard that people were next to them. Kids were running up and down hallway as they exited or entered the room. The parents were just as loud. I felt like an unwilling partner in of most of their conversations. I called the front desk, but the hotel was booked solid due to weekend weddings in town, so they couldn't move us.The air conditioner wasn't working properly, if you attempted to make the room warmer, it automatically turned on the heat and it got stuck there. Maintenance was called and he had to pull the unit apart, move furniture and then moved the operation of the unit from the wall back to the unit itself to temporarily fix the issue. The shower panel was on reverse, so we had to take a cold shower the first morning until maintenance came in and realized that the panel was put on wrong and reverse. Lastly, the bathroom door itself wouldn't close all the way unless you fully banged it heavily with your shoulder several times to get it shut, then you had to forcefully pull it a few times to get it to open. I reported everything to the front desk and all we got was a "Sorry this happened" No concessions, nothing! They even had the audacity to bill our room for a $7 bottle of water after check out that we never consumed. All of this madness was "blessed" with the backdrop of LOUD street noise, sirens, and revving cars. We bought earplugs that helped a little. We were so happy to leave and get home!
