I recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Marianna and was disappointed with the experience. The first room I was given had visibly dirty comforters with stains and what looked like hand and foot marks. I requested a different room, and while the second room had clean bedding, the overall cleanliness still left much to be desiredโespecially in the corners, where dirt had built up like it hadnโt been mopped properly.
The first impression walking up to the room was also poor. The door was filthy, giving the feeling of walking into a mechanicโs garage rather than a hotel room. There was definitely no โlove at first sight.โ
On the positive side, the staff was kind and helpful. However, the complimentary breakfast was very limitedโjust coffee, bread, cookies, and cereal, with no protein options at all.
Itโs disappointing to see a hotel under the Wyndham name kept in this condition. I only stayed here because Iโm a member, but this experience has me seriously considering switching my loyalty and focusing on earning points with my Hilton membership instead.
