We checked in a little after 9pm, check in was efficient despite the later hour. That was the best part of our stay, it was downhill from there. When we arrived to our room, it had not been cleaned from the previous guest, but had been marked as clean by their internal system. There were no other rooms available like our original and we had to stay one night in a Queen room with THE most uncomfortable rollaway bed. The springs were easily visible under the very thin sheet. The next morning we needed to repack our things and move to the correct room type. The sofa bed was more comfortable than the actual bed. There was only one elevator in service and it took a very long time to get down the floors, especially in the mornings and evenings. The hotel itself seems run down, although they are in the process of painting. The tub was slow to drain and only half the holes on the shower head were functional, on all the settings. The door outside on the balcony that lead to the utility closet had a broken lock and the door banged open and shut in the wind, and a dead pigeon was inside the back corner. We had spent close to 6 hours of our trip dealing with the room situation that it was more trouble than it was worth to ask facilities to fix these things. If we return to the area, I will stay literally anywhere else.
