Over hyped
Our room was small, the shower was a wet room which was most impractical. Our dinner was disappointing being that the chef has a Michelin Star. The service was indifferent in the restaurant and the food while ok was not what we expected based on all the positive reviews.

Good hotel, let down by toilet on ground floor room
Great hotel, excellent location facing a hill range. But stayed in ground room and the toilet was too small that it had to be partitioned by curtains.

Delightful, upscale get-away
Room was charming, if a bit quirky. Would have appreciated more external vemtilation (e.g., screened window in sleeping area). OUTSTANDING shower.

French hospitality at its best
A beautiful old Auberge in lovely rural setting near to Saint Jean de Luz. Our room was small but smart. We dined one evening in the restaurant. The food was superb every course had a wine to compliment and the service perfect. This is a very expensive treat! We also splashed out on the breakfast which is an experience not to be missed but you need to be hungry!
