Average to bad, in a terrible city for hotels
Brussels is the worst city in Europe for hotels — there is an astonishing number number of vastly overpriced dumps that should frankly be shut down by the government. So the bar is pretty low. Against this dire situation, this place is just about decent provided the price is fair — anything over €45 would be too much. Watch for reception which decided to round up the €4.24 city tax to €4.50 and hope that I won’t notice. I gave him exactly €4.25 and told him to keep the extra cent. He gave me a puzzled look. Really!

Location was reasonable and walkable to all city centre attractions and Brussels Midi (although the area you walk through looked run down and not safe). Shower didnt work correctly. Great range of entertainment within the hotel and loads of cafe/bars locally. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a hostel feel to it.

reasonable area, not too far from station/centre, but would ONLY accept cash at reception, no credit/debit cards, bit odd, as well as being inconvenient

A beautiful city almost ruined by a terrible hotel
Lets start with the fact this hotel is on a major road, there is no AC so you have to open your window which means every loud sound possible, sleep was nearly impossible. Throughout the night the sounds of cars, loud conversation, cafes, parties, yelling, laughing and it never stopped! The beds felt like torture devices, assuming you could ignore the stains on nearly every surface. This is a cash only place so be prepared to have all of the cash for your stay.

Be prepared for the most minimum conditions you could anticipate Mildew and rust were present and very little hot water Very noisy area, drunks out well after 2am

a hostel feel like hotel
a terrible experience started with - no room card, but a key only and need to hand in to the receptionist when going out. - no door lock for the sleeping room and we could only place a chair at the back of the door, in case anyone suddenly came in that we could be alerted. - window without a curtain inside the toilet, ladies felt insecure when bathing. - the auto light at the corridor (outside the lift) last few seconds only and sometimes we were waiting for the lift in the dark. - stayed on top floor of the hotel, men didn't stand straight because of the floor ceiling is too low or the roof top was tilted.

They were fairly disorganized. Room wasn't ready when we arrived. Our key got lost. They made a big deal that we didn't request breakfast, but never mentioned we needed to request it. Good location though.

NO
SO disappointing. We were looking for a budget hotel, but I would rather pay a few extra euros and stay at a decent hotel than stay here again. The heat did not work for the first few hours, two windows in our room did not shut-- and it was raining, so we had a puddle in the bathroom! The door handle to the bathroom would fall off almost every time you would open and close it. The room locked, but you had to use the key on the INSIDE of the door to even get out! The room was super small, which is fine, but about half of the room has a slanted ceiling, so we could not stand up in that part. There was a used soap bar left in the shower and a layer of dust on the light. Overall, very dirty feeling, and very frustrating.

The bed is a rock in this room. The room was small and included literally only a bed and bathroom. Good place for staying on the cheap. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Well-situated between the centre and Brussels Midi
About 15 minutes walk from Brussels Midi Station and 8 minutes walk from the Grand-Place, the hotel is well situated for those who do not want to use public transport. It is small and rather old-fashioned but friendly enough. A useful place for a quick overnight stay.
