Awful experience
This booking was a disaster. The garage entry fob did not work. When we arrived to the unlocked room, the linens were hanging and drying at the front door and the patio. The electrical box in the apartment was opened, and a sharp metal strip wasdangling from the bedroom wall. We requested a room for four people and two beds. We received a queen bed and a futon that one toddler could sleep on. At this point, we requested a refund from the owner, to which he agreed. We immediately returned the rental keys to the property staff. Subsequently, the property owner denied that he agreed to a refund.
We have used hotels.com for years. This property was by far the worst experience we've ever had. The owner is a fraud and misrepresented the property details.
