Do not stay
Arrived at 10pm to no towels in the room or pillow cases on the pillows. They were not delivered until 2pm the next day. We were chaperoned everywhere by security who walked us to our door to enter our room and we had no access to use the pool. Made to feel very uncomfortable as we were told it’s a residential building and it’s illegal to book for short stays. The 2nd bed was a food out hard futon and my 26 year old son had to sleep on the couch which was more comfortable, the lights only worked intermittently.

When I arrived there was no booking for me, I later received an email explaining the situation from Expedia, that was fine, but I was abruptly told by reception and security to leave their premises, basically 72 years old and thrown out into the street with my belongings, I have never been treated so badly, thanks to Expedia they refunded my money that the MARQ had taken and paid half of the cost for the new apartment Somerset Chancellor Court, which was amazing👍to Expedia.
