The check-in experience was very poor and ultimately unsuccessful.
I contacted the host in advance to confirm my arrival time and parking details but did not receive any response. I followed up again on the day of arrival and still did not hear back until late in the evening.
At approximately 9:30 PM, I finally received a response, and at 9:45 PM I was sent a link to complete an online check-in. At that point, I was already in transit picking up my rental car, and it was not possible to complete the process in time.
I was then informed that check-in after 10:00 PM would not be allowed, and that I would not be permitted onto the property. This policy had not been clearly communicated in advance, and the lack of timely communication made it impossible to comply.
As a result, I was effectively denied check-in and had to make alternative accommodations at the last minute.
Additionally, the tone of the host’s communication was unprofessional and unhelpful given the situation.
I am requesting a full refund due to the failure to provide access to the property and the lack of proper communication.
