My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Meridiana and we can confidently say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hostess' hospitality was top-notch—warm, welcoming, and she was always eager to assist. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly shown to our room, which exceeded our expectations. The village is quaint and serene, and the outside of the hotel is beautiful. The soothing sounds of a picturesque babbling brook can be heard from the square which adds to the village experience. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a cozy ambiance that made it feel like a home away from home. What really stood out during our stay was the attention to detail. The hotel offered thoughtful touches like complimentary waters daily and an in-depth breakdown of the area (including restaurant recommendations, transportation details and scenic areas to view). Breakfast each morning was a delightful spread of both hot and cold options, catering to every taste and dietary need. In summary, LA Meridiana provided an unforgettable experience that went above and beyond our expectations. From the accommodations to the exceptional service, every detail was flawless. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and outstanding hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

Great place!
The B&B was adorable and Edda was a most wonderful host. The B&B is in a very small village. It was a great jumping off point for Cinque Terre.

Amazing
This was such a beautiful place. We had our own little apartment, came with a big bedroom, A kitchen with fridge and stove. A bathroom with a washing machine too. We did not realize you need a car to get around the area. But there is a delicious restaurant two minutes walking from the hotel. And a delicious breakfast each morning. Edda was so nice and kind and very attentive. We would stay here again with her in the future. Highly recommend.

The B&B is located in a quiet town that is a lovely contrast to the busy tourist crowd at Cinqueterre (a short drive away). The hospitality and breakfast were excellent! The nearby restaurant recommendation was delicious. Loved listening to the sound of the stream nearby as I read in bed after a long hike.

Our family of 4 stayed here over the summer and had a wonderful experience. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Cinque Terre but many of the hotels right in Cinque Terre were pretty pricey. This bed & breakfast was a great option. It was about a 20 minute drive from Monterosso in a quaint little village. The owners were so hospitable and made us feel at home. We felt like we were guests in their home. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and they were very helpful with giving us directions and suggestions for restaurants. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

A favorite
My wife and I stayed for two nights on a road trip through southern Europe, and this has so far been our favorite accommodation. It is a beautiful 30 minute mountain/forest drive from any of the Cinque Terre villages, and located in a cute midieval village of its own. The building itself is about 400 years old (other parts of the village ~600), but has been updated with very nice and spacious rooms. The hosts are a very nice couple who went out of their way to make sure we knew our way around the area, and had all of the info we needed (maps, parking, restaurants, train/boat prices & timetables, etc) to make the most of our day in the Cinque Terre region. The breakfasts were amazing, including an assortment of delicious home-made cakes and pies (when in Rome...). They also pointed us towards some very good nearby restaurants, including one there in the village (Picolo Paradiso) and a pizzaria in neighboring Pignone (Il Castellaro). We couldn’t recommend La Meridiana any more highly. We hope to be back some day!

Best bed & breakfast in Italy
Amazing! Excellent! From arrival through departure, we felt like family. (Immediate family, not cousins or estranged relatives). We were literally welcomed with opened arms and were completely happy and comfortable. All the modern conveniences and the best breakfast of our entire trip. Better than the restaurants and fancy hotels along the way. Madam makes the best cakes and pies as well. We will be back!

Off the beaten path, a delightful choice.
Owners are delightful, and bend over backward to be accommodating. Realistically, figure half hour drive on very windy roads to reach Monterosso. Cinque Terre is heavily touristed so staying in a rural village is a nice counterpoint. If you want to be where the action is, stay in a Cinque Terre town. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing out-of-town experience and loved the home-baked breakfast cakes. Limited English, but I don't go to Italy expecting fluency, and you'll do just fine.

8/10 Very Good

Great country living
It is tucked in a small town in pignone 20 minute drive to cinque terre. The owners were great. Welcomed us and made us feel like part of their family. Finding the place was slightly difficult by car however local people were helpful The room we stayed had a nice full kitchen and even had a washing machine in our bathroom If you are visiting cinque terre. I highly recommend this place. I will miss the homemade desserts in the morning that the owner made fresh each morning.

Very nice B&B
The Meridiana came as advertised. Both Etta and Ubaldo were wonderful hosts. When we arrived they offered to bring in our luggage, which we declined because there were so many ,as well as heavy. Once we settled in they provided us with all the infromation we needed to explore the Cinqe Terre. The Meridiana is about a 20 minute drive to Monterosso, one of the Cinqe Terre towns. Ubaldo showed us on a map how to get to Monterosso and also told us where we could park for the day while there. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. For breakfast there was more than you could ask for:fruit, baked goods(Etta is the baker), cereal, cheese, cold cuts, as well as esspresso and milk. I would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arose. I would definitely recommend the Meridiana. Lou and family from Toronto
