It was an unbelievable experience that one might only expect if/when entering Hell! Very difficult to get into the front door and so hard to get into the apartment that my girlfriend was about to give up and go to a hotel. When we finally got in, there was one wet, dirty toilet paper roll available, which is quite a disgusting experience when one arrives just before midnight when no shops are open. Communication with the landlord/host was virtually impossible except through Expedia, which the host/landlord only answered when it felt like it. The whole place and experience was like living in some sort of ghetto. When we left early to get a flight to the USA on our schedule departure date, we unfortunately left behind a piece of luggage that the host/landlord admitted but refused to let us pay to have the landlord/host send us to the USA. The landlord would not even give us the address to have a courier send it to us! Utterly disgusting and outrageous! I have reported the theft to the police in Vienna, Austria and hope that the landlord/host serves some good time for the crimes committed.
