When we arrived for our stay, the power was out. This is not the fault of the hotel. The front desk staff adequately handled the situation.
We were suggested by the staff that while the power is out, to spend time at the pool.
10 minutes after we arrived at the pool, kids were in the water, the manager of the hotel came out and asked everyone to move because his landscaper was coming to cut.
the manager of the hotel asked 1-15 or so people to move out of the pool area for 20-30 minutes for grass cutting, When he had just instructed us to go to there, because of power outage.
I brought this calmly to the attention of the manager, and his Response was “ It will only be 20 to 30 minutes please? Otherwise he will have to come back.”
I said “ I recognize that this is an inconvenience for you, and that you may have to reschedule. However, you have customers here with nowhere else to go dripping wet. We cannot shower because your power is out, You told us yourself that the water pump isn’t working. So please don’t displace families unnecessarily. Do you think that’s good customer service?”
He offered for us to come back and use the pool another time when not guests. useless meaningless offer.
Additionally, our room did not have a shower curtain, there was an huge orange stain around the tub.
The woman at the front was great.
The manager’s lack of common sense and Customer service is why I won’t go back here.
