worst hotel in my life
I recently stayed at The Setai Hotel in Miami Beach, and I am extremely disappointed and shocked by my experience there. The hotel had an outdated ambiance, and it felt incredibly worn down. The low ceilings only added to the overall poor impression.
Despite booking a very expensive two-bedroom room, there was no sense of luxury whatsoever. The real frustration began at breakfast, where we started eating at 10:30 AM and finished just past 11 AM. To my surprise, I was charged for breakfast, with the hotel claiming that any receipt printed after 11 AM meant it was not complimentary. This issue was only brought to my attention upon checking out.
When I tried to dispute this unfair charge, a front desk staff member, who happened to be a black male, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Due to a tight flight schedule, I ended up having to pay the unjust fee. Is this what should be expected from a five-star hotel? My trip was marred by this appalling service and deeply unpleasant experience.
