Was expecting more from 4* Hilton property
I recently stayed at a 4-star Hilton hotel chain, and while my experience had many positives, there were also a few disappointments, especially considering the price paid.
•Positives:
The staff was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The reception team was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurant and bar staff were equally kind and hardworking, doing their best despite being understaffed.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained rooms and a comfortable bed—soft, but not overly so, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The location is also fantastic: right on the main street and only a 2-3 minute walk from the beach, making it perfect for both relaxation and convenience.
•Negatives:
Unfortunately, the service times at both breakfast and dinner were frustratingly long due to a lack of staff. The employees were doing their best (they truly deserve a raise!), but the delays were inevitable.
Another major issue was the lack of an indoor dining option. The hotel didn’t seem to be designed with rainy weather in mind. On our first night, because the restaurant was fully outdoors (without any roof), we were advised to order room service. The only other alternative was squeezing in at the bar, which offered minimal coverage from the rain.
Additionally, the menu never changed throughout our stay, and there was no buffet option. Every dish had to be ordered individually, which, made things slower. Internet 20Mb down and up, slow.
