This hotel was pretty nice to stay in Ubud, but I felt frustration about the staffs' hospitality. The guest of next room of mine was chatting on-line in the terrace with really big voice, which was so annoying me, so that I asked the receptionist to give him a caution to be quiet or go into his room several times. Even though I complained of the noise from next room many times during almost 1 hour, the situation was not getting better. Finally I got mad and strongly told the receptionist to do something, then settled.
And... Was the reason why? Well, I had a breakfast after checking out from the hotel in the next morning, then I was about to leaving there to the airport with my guide. Nobody said "Thank you for your staying" or "Have a nice day, Miss.", etc. Even they, the every staff, were ignoring my moving suitcase into the backside of the car, - doing nothing. Why? Was it because I already checked out? Or, Was it because they were uneasy with my complaints at the last night? My guide says to me like, "What are they? They don't say anything like 'thank you' when you are leaving. They don't know what hospitality is." Yes, I also agreed with the words.
