Called a week prior to make sure damages from flood did not damage the facility.
Was assured that the only damage was the parking lot.
Not so.....2 floors had been flooded, and they were closed.
The lobby was on 3rd floor, a cafeteria table for check in.
One staff person, unhelpful, very rude.
Elevator malfunctioned, construction, everywhere, no lighting, the person checking in was unprofessional, and no public bathroom available after our 6 hour drive.
The registration clerk said if you need a restroom, you will have to check in to your room and use it.
Women in their 70's, ..... seriously , it was not a safe place to stay.
They should have provided this information when we called to inquire about the hotel conditions.
We did not stay, and filed a complaint with
Orbitz, and denied a refund, by the clerk.
I also plan to write a letter to the Hilton company.....they should have been honest about the hotel conditions.
It was a nightmare.....
I am so sorry about the damages and flood, but it was dishonest, not to warn us concerning the condition of this hotel.
