Great location!
Great location. We got a different type of room than what weโd reserved which was disappointing but not terrible. We just wanted the seating area that the room we reserved should have had. Weโd also requested a microwave in our room and never got a response. We didnโt but the front desk about it as the hotel was packed with no vacancy and they had their hands full. Check in was not as simple as most Hiltons that just allow me to check in via the app and our key cards didnโt work more than half of the time, but the digital key was fine and we didnโt bother to spend our time or the staffโs getting our key cards fixed. If we hadnโt had the digital key we would have had to, though. The hotel is nice, very clean, the staff is great, and itโs very conveniently located. We chose it for this trip because it was more affordable than our usual place and weโd stayed there before so knew it was acceptable. We will definitely stay again, though it doesnโt surpass our usual place on our preference list.

Property appears nice enough. Once you leave the lobby it's old looking. We reserved & paid for 2 queens but we're given 2 fulls. Pretty shady to charge for one thing & give another.
Also asked the front desk for some directions & recommendations around town and the lady me told that she didn't know much about downtown Asheville. So much for a helpful staff

Great value
Amazing staff and nice rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice. Only complaint is the queen beds are not much bigger than the double beds.

The bathroom was dirty. Mold in crevices of the shower area. Dirt and dust on the decorative part on the the sink. Rust or something unknown on the bathroom vent. The bed is uncomfortable on one side of the bed and feels like a spring is broken. Pool was out for half of our stay. It was the only reason I booked the hotel. When we asked to move there wasn't a guarantee we'd get a room with the layout we asked for and was offered a downgrade. Some of the staff is super nice. Some of them made you feel like you were a nuisance. $50 refundable incidental charge that came as a suprise as it wasn't disclosed on things I read, but I could have missed it. This was supposed to be a babymoon trip planned for September and due to something I missed it was an impromptu birthday trip.

A little bit damp.
A pretty straightforward hotel. A little older than I expected. My room was a suite on the first floor. Not a large suite. No kitchenette. It was damp and musty. Mind you, this is asheville. I didnt know if it was from disuse or remnants of the hurricane flooding, but it was so humid in the room every soft surface was damp and the wallpaper was peeling up from the walls. It smelled like mildew. It even warped my books in my luggage. The staff were friendly, though. I really didnt want to make waves, but it was a bit rough. Hilton has high standards and this didnt quite match those.
The gym was nice. But the pool was closed down. There is no longer a restaurant in the hotel (used to have a Fridays). Its permanently closed due to damage from the hurricane. Very few delivery options. I, personally, would use the Hampton Inn next door.
