Check in was super easy. The staff was very friendly. If I needed something, they were very quick to provide. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast. The sausage was under cooked, and the gravy had no flavor to it at all. But the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I was able to sleep with ease.

Not a bad place. And relatively cheap!
The stay was fine. My daughter and I stayed for one night. The staff that I encountered was very friendly, so no problems there. I did my usual: check the room for any damages prior to our stay, check the mattress for bed bugs, etc. Everything was completely fine.

Great check in experience. Quick. Economy room, but fairly clean. Cold AC in-room, but thatโs a plus for me. Decent breakfast provided with room. The location of this property was ideal for me. Add up all the factors, and I would certainly return. Recommend to anyone staying in the Detroit area. Centrally located and very close to airport.

Because of a outgoing flight change we needed to move our La Quinta stay forward one night. The hotel couldn't make that change because the reservation was made by a "3rd party" who would be paying them. I was told that moving my stay forward one night was no problem for the La Quinta Inn, but told me that I needed to contact Expedia directly to make the change.
I tried unsuccessfully to reach a Expedia on line, or a representative by phone ahead of our planned stay but was unable to do so. I could not find a phone number to call, or when on line for 2+ hours during a two day period, I was unable to make the change or cancel the reservation that we had PAID for. It's possibly a tech savvy 18-year old could have done so, but I was unable to. As often as I've used Expedia or Hotels.com in the past for hotels, flights and auto rental reservations, I've never had to make a change. The lesson you've taught me is to avoid a "3rd party" concerning future reservations. I do not wish lose precious vacation or work time while away, trying to make a itinerary change or a cancellation. This reservation proved too costly.

Convenient hotel for our stay

Walked into room to find no pillows on bed, but stacked up on the sofa bed. Pillow cases were not on pillows but stacked up near by. Room heating system did not work well. No bed-side charging plugs for our phones.

It's close to the airport and has a shuttle service. If you drive, there is a $10 fee for overnight parking, which you pay through an APP. Only a handful of eateries nearby. The room is comfy, but the fan in my bathroom was quite loud.
