Just fine
The employees at the desk were friendly. The room was sufficiently clean though the small piece of carpet between the beds and the chair were stained.

Run away
If you are from out of town and need a night or two, run dont walk somewhere else. I felt dirtier after the shower after a 20+ hour drive. If it wasnt so late and i wasnt exhausted, no chance i would have stayed.

Okay if it is your only option.
I stayed here when I went to a show at the Eastern States Expo. Normally I stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott, but it was booked so could only get one nite there.. Red Roof was just across the parking lot, so I booked 2nd nite there. Was told I could not check in early, it was pouring rain, and was also told I would only be able to wait in lobby 30 min. The rooms smelled like cheap perfume over musty odor. Would only go back if I had no option.

It should be more lit in the parking lot it was not safe. We did not receive the snacks that we paid for. Neighbors were loud at midnight blaring music. Room was dirty walked in the door to a spider web and hair all over the floor. Dead bugs on the bathroom floor and stains on the linen.

Pillows were flat, bed was lumy,r air conditioner was very loud, , not efficient , roomm carpet smelled of beer and piss. Paid a $50.00 fee, have to wait for it to be refunded? Never again, ashamed of you Expedia!

All of the front desk reps were wonderful however we dealt with Deb and Jeffrey most and they were amazing. They were very professional but they were also pleasant and patient. Jeffrey always had a smile on his face and went above and beyond his front desk duties. Deb was very quick to assist with finding us better rates and resulted in us saving money. Because of the 2 of them we stayed at Red Roof instead of looking for a different property as we are in the process of finding a new residence and Red Roof is our home until then. Housekeeping and maintenance staff was also very professional and helpful. they have a great team.

Decent stay
It was a decent stay. We needed something fast during a weekend that was extremely hard to find a vacancy and they had one room left. The room was clean but the bathroom needs renovation. Desperately needs a new tub. It worked for what we needed for one night.
There were only 2 bath towels in the room. I guess that is standard. We had 4 people in our party for the one room. I asked the gentleman at the front desk for 2 more towels and he was giving some push back about giving me extra. That was a turn off. I don't know, I am paying for my stay. Can I please have some extra towels??

Okay stay, but no elevator if that's a necessity.
Had to use a wetted down hand towel to clean the pergo flooring. It felt tacky, and sticky as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
